The time has come once more, to slip away from reality and immerse themselves in the courtroom of dreams. This time that trip happens to be into a very literal courtroom. The dolls are given spaces at the defense and prosecution's desks; facing one another. There is a table between them which contains the case's evidence.

Black, faceless spectors watch from the gallery, chanting for justice. You can hear-- among the garbled cries-- the names of all the suspects. Yuri, Rean, Merciless, Mitsuko and Mikami, as well as cries for Sting, the victim.

Naturall, Sheepy takes her place at the head of the court as their presiding Judge. Out comes the gavel and she starts banging it on the desk. The gallery slowly quiets and the courtroom becomes eerily silent, save for the sound of Sheepy's voice.

"All right, settle down... settle down~~ Court is now in session for the murder of Sting. Who is the culprit? It's time for us to find out~!"

Though, Yuri's profile says he's good with swords. Can't imagine why both of them would be in the locker room.

Indeed, that would be quite peculiar.

Can't imagine the two women on the list doing that much damage, either.

I suppose it does seem that brute strength were involved and while both women are dangerous, they do not appear to possess that strength.

Actually--I'm fairly certain Sting did. So, if he had been on the attack...

[The doll pauses to consider that.]

I suppose he could do a great deal of damage.

Exactly.

[The doll seems rather smug for a minute and then their shoulders drop a little.]

Though, why a sword? Wasn't he a hand to hand specialist?

[blacksock]

I doubt it's Yuri. If he had killed Sting wouldn't he have reopened his injuries?

[whowearsthesocks]

He would have but like I said it would have been pretty weird for him to have picked a fight in the women's locker room anyway. Why not the men's in that case?

[blacksock]

It does make it seem likely that it was one of our women.

[whowearsthesocks]

Which if we take into consideration the odd placement of the fight and the damage taken means that Sting probably tried to kill them first.

Really? That's interesting. In that situation, I could see either of them defending themselves, but it's the state of the body that's making me think Merciless is the more likely killer.

You mean the fact that there was blood writing?

[blacksock]

And that exsanguination was the cause of death... But I was actually referring to the body's position. Does Mitsuko seem like the sort of person who would care what the body looked like after Sting was dead? It seems likely to me that Sting's body was posed.

If she wanted to make things look like it hadn't been her then maybe but dragging it all the way to the ballroom seems excessive.

Is not it something that Sting would have written?

When he was dying?

However, this could have been deliberate misdirection.

Deliberate misdirection? Are you saying Yuri lured him out to the women's lockers just to fight?

[sockmongoose]

I am not saying it specifically was Yuri, but it could have been.

Judging by the evidence there's only three people it could have been: Mitsuko, Merciless, or Yuri.

I'm certainly not ruling that out. Jumping to conclusions won't get us anywhere. For right now it's just speculation.

Indeed. One has to consider the possibilities after all.
