Fifth Trial, Day One

Week 6, Day 1 ‹ Trial ›

Saturday

victim

suspects

The time has come once more, to slip away from reality and immerse themselves in the courtroom of dreams. This time that trip happens to be into a very literal courtroom. The dolls are given spaces at the defense and prosecution's desks; facing one another. There is a table between them which contains the case's evidence.

Black, faceless spectors watch from the gallery, chanting for justice. You can hear-- among the garbled cries-- the names of all the suspects. Yuri, Rean, Merciless, Mitsuko and Mikami, as well as cries for Sting, the victim.

Naturall, Sheepy takes her place at the head of the court as their presiding Judge. Out comes the gavel and she starts banging it on the desk. The gallery slowly quiets and the courtroom becomes eerily silent, save for the sound of Sheepy's voice.

"All right, settle down... settle down~~ Court is now in session for the murder of Sting. Who is the culprit? It's time for us to find out~!"

I'm just going to put this out there for consideration.

You all say 'oh they couldn't have done it' or 'this doesn't seem like them' but do you all forget the damage that was done to the floor and that locker. If that was Sting's doing then wouldn't you do whatever you could to keep yourself alive?

This is why I believe it could easily be Merciless or Mitsuko because the length of their hair could work easiest for what was found, however. Merciless seems to have a profound respect for the dead and the body was set up in such a deliberate manner, after all.

That's all fine and well, but let's stop and think for a moment. Are we really about to start pointing fingers based on the length of someone's hair found inside a drain? Last I checked, that's not exactly something I'd consider out of the ordinary for either the men's or women's showers.

I'm not saying it couldn't have been either of them, but I think it might be better to start focusing on the rest of the evidence first before laying the heat on them. We don't want to miss anything here.

Of course we don't. I'm just putting out my thoughts on the matter and giving everyone here something to consider.

After all, I'm not someone who wants another innocent person to die in this place.

Yeah...

Let's not make the same mistake we did last time.
