The dream world that they enter is shrouded in darkness. What was always an everlasting night has now taken even the stars from them. The only light comes from small, floating torches that flicker. Through what little light they have to guide them, they can see a small familiar form waiting up ahead.  Coming closer, they can indeed tell that Sheepy is waiting.

Now more than ever it is important that they arm themselves with the evidence that they have collected regarding the mastermind behind all this. Because this is the only chance they'll ever get to present it. Though death has always been the risk, now it's all or nothing.

Sheepy waits for them all to join her before grinning.

"Well, well, well... here we all are. Not all that many of you left, are there? Ah-- but then... maybe there won't be any of you left after this. Keheheheheh!! So let's make the most out of this last little session, shall we? Think you have it all figured out? Well let's find out. Like you were told, you gotta name all the remaining gunmen as well as the mastermind. So. Let's begin."

That's certainly understandable! But why you, exactly? Couldn't it have been anyone else?

No one else was prepared to take over the project on such short notice-- an under-sight, really.

Besides. I had already been watching over you for a while, so what was a little more, right?

But you're a little different than Sandra, ja? I don't just mean in terms of personality, of course! What are you, Sheepy? Were you really just created to oversee us?

What am I? Well... you should have been able to tell this already, so I'll just say it. I am a program that functions within a DreamScape. My original function was to serve as your judge during your trials and make sure you were able to make an informed decision.

And is that what you're still doing right now? What happens after your role is over?

[parasomniacs]

Hmmm... well. I guess that depends on what happens here. I wonder... My program may be shut down. Or maybe it will be recycled. Who can say.

And that doesn't bother you at all?

[parasomniacs]

[Sheepy becomes quiet for a long moment.]

I haven't thought a lot about it until now. I will not have a purpose when the experiment ends. But-- the experiment ending is a good thing for you all. You shouldn't worry about me. Please focus on getting out safely.

Ja, it certainly is a good thing. I want this to be over just as badly as everyone else here. I have quite a few things I need to do back home, after all! I have two very lovely daughters I need to return to as well.

...So no matter what happens, I will put my safety first. With that said... It seems odd to me that you should have to be a casualty in this experiment. I don't believe you're just some creation, Sheepy. I doubt you'd tell me that much if you were.

No. I'm just a program. A high-level one, but it's all code. But... I guess over time, perhaps I have also become an outlet for the feelings of guilt and justice that have accumulated among you all.

As such, what I want most... what I want to get out of this I guess... is for you all to make the right decision and survive.

Then surely you can see exactly what we can - that the right decision is not to sacrifice our own.

If that's a choice you can be satisfied with no matter what happens... then I guess that's an answer too. You guys really came together, huh?
